Zumba is a fitness program inspired by Latin dance. The name Zumba is derived from a Colombian word meaning to move fast and have fun. It was founded by Miami-based dancer and choreographer Alberto ‘Beto’ Perez, and combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic routine that is fun and easy to follow. Each Zumba class includes a mix of music, such as Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Samba and even Hip-Hop, providing the student with an energetic and engaging class from start to finish.

About the Instructor:
Kareemah has been a licensed STRONG by Zumba instructor since 2016 and a licensed Zumba instructor since 2012. She is also licensed to teach Zumba Kids and Kids Jr. and Zumba in the Circuit. Kareemah is a certified coach of Zumba’s nutrition education and coaching program, Plate by Zumba.

Cardio KickBoxing with Jeanette
Introducing Jeanette Chandler and Cardio Kickboxing to Roda Movements! Jeanette’s classes will be on Tuesdays, from 6:15pm to 7:00pm.
Cardio Kickboxing is a high energy cardio routine that focuses on toning, tightening and increasing core strength. Included is across the floor drills to help increase overall conditioning. The music is fun, exciting, and high paced. Get ready for a sweat fest with this class.
